I was away for a while, but I have returned.

So I hear Romney decided to double down on the crazy. Interesting. I wish I were as bereft of human decency as Paul Ryan (R-WI).

A minority such as myself may not be paid as much to transfer national wealth into the pockets of his masters, but it is easier to get the job. For reference, please see laughably inept Sarah Palin (R-AK), the candidate who was his own comic relief, Herman Cain (R-GA), beard to an over-the-top “gay conversion therapist” husband, Michele Bachmann (R-MN), and the kind of man who would take home a stillborn for “family” pictures, Rick Santorum (R-PA). Granted at least one of the last two are clinically insane, but I’m alluding to the fact that that each plays the part of the clown and do so as a part of a minority of sorts. Palin and Bachmann are female, Cain is black, and Santorum is right-of-Pope-Benny-the-Rat-reactionary Catholic.

Ryan may be an evil person who lies with the ease of a psychopath, but he is certainly no buffoon. He is a skilled manipulator that can say exactly the right thing tailored to a very specific audience. The basic premise of the eponymous plan the so-called liberal media dotes on is that earned benefits (don’t forget, people, we have been paying for these for decades, even though we may be too young to use them now) must be raided to fund tax cuts for the very wealthy. And if some old codger asks about the effects, Ryan can make it sound like benefits will increase.
